Generations At Work

Speaker: Lynn Richardson SPHR, CCP

Various events impacted each generation during their youth or as young adults and influenced the way that generation thinks about the work place.

Utilizing Lynn's more than 25 years' experience as a Senior Human Resources Professional, he will help us understand how each generation thinks about:

  • Respect for management
  • Attitude towards company loyalty
  • Leadership styles
  • Difference between leadership and management

We'll look at a leadership style that allows individuals to effectively work with employees from any of the generational groups in their organization.

And finally we'll look at some of the key factors that create an environment in which employees of any generation are more likely to be highly self-motivated.

Lynn worked in the staffing industry since 1986. Prior to retiring Lynn served as Vice President of HR for SOS Employment Group. His responsibilities included employee relations, salary and benefits administration and leadership training. He also conducted supervisory and manager training for many of SOS Staffing Service's key clients. Lynn is a certified instructor for the Franklin Covey course on "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People."
